This stylish Tiffany & Co dog tag necklace is a true classic, inspired by the Tiffany key ring from 1969. The pendant and chain are made in solid 925 sterling silver. The pendant bears the hallmark 'STER 925' with the popular motiff 'PLEASE RETURN TO TIFFANY & CO NEW YORK'. The chain is also hallmarked on a small round tag on the chain clasp, which is engraved 'TIFFANY & CO' on one side and '925' on the other. In 1851, Tiffany and Company established the standard of sterling silver in the United States by signing an agreement with the leading New York silversmith to follow the standard for English sterling, 925 parts per 1,000 parts silver.
This stylish dog tag necklace is in good condition and comes with the original Tiffany box and bag.
